Interview Thank You Letter Sample

Below is an interview thank you letter sample to give you some inspiration for writing your own interview thank you letter. While it's fine to start out with a sample to give you some ideas for your own thank you note, do remember that in order for interview thank you notes to be effective, they must be sincere.

When you write your letter, be sure to mention specific and positive things that were discussed in your own interview. Give reasons why you feel you would be a great fit for the job, note things that you really liked about the company, or mention specific skills that you have that would be a real asset to the company.

If you are hand delivering or faxing your thank you letter, set it up the same way this cover letter sample is set up, with your contact information at the top just as it would look on your resume. If you are sending the thank you bay email, simply write the note in the body of the email.

Dear Ashley Employer:

Thank you for taking the time to interview me on Friday, September 15. My colleagues tell me that ABC Company is a professional and capable organization that stands behind its values, and I am excited about the prospect of working with the clients and team at ABC Company.

I hope you will find that my combined education and experience in the fields of counseling and education are well matched to the case manager position. I certainly enjoy this type of work. Also, I would welcome the opportunity to see clients through with their long term career development, and I have had success in the past working with this client group.

Once again, thank you for the opportunity to meet with you. I am very interested in pursuing a career with ABC Company, and I am looking forward to hearing from you again in the near future.
