I always end up working for the competitors of the company I originally applied for !

When I was looking for a job back in 2005 I thought about the type of place I wanted to work. I had always thought it would be cool to work for Netflix, but they weren't hiring. So I went to their competitors website, Gamefly and sent in my resume.

Turns out THEY were hiring and I got the job!

Fast forward about a year, and I was looking for more of a career. I wanted to work for an internet company and found an ad on Craigslist for PriceGrabber. I sent my resume and had a phone interview and they basically looked down on me for not having enough experience.

So I decided to check their competitor, Shopzilla, who had the same type of position. Luckily for me it was available, and I interviewed. I've now worked there almost 3 years! In your face Pricegrabber!
